We were visited by two local firefighters who held a workshop on how to stay safe - especially around the time of bonfires and fireworks.

History

We examined why Britain chose to go back to war only decades after fighting in a horrendous battle. We learnt that some leaders attempted to appease Adolf Hitler whilst others wanted to use force to stop him. After a healthy debate, we held a democratic vote - deciding Hitler, who behaved like a bully, needed to be stopped. 

English- Letters to the Lighthouse

We acted in role as characters from Letters to the Lighthouse to complete a radio interview. We used inference skills to decide how the characters were feeling and what their 'real' motives were.
